Unreal Johnny. I kept thinking this can't be real. It can't be this big of a deal to upload a picture. You may have caught a couple of my picture attempts online while I was experimenting. Ugh. I haven't totally given up on trying to save our Blogspot site. Even if it means totally rebuilding...

BTW: Thanks for the code to auto route folks from our Blogspot site to our Wordpress site. I typed the code into our template and it worked but our pictures (on Wordpress) didn't show. Only the post & comments. No pics. Strange. I'll give it another try later tonight and see if the first attempt was just a hic-up in the process...

Thank you again, Ford

Ford, as you found out, the wordpress picture handling is even worse than blogspot (if that's even possible).

What I would recommend is:

1) make the picture FILE size of 200K to 300K (you may already do this anyway).
2) upload it to wordpress.

At this point, you have a choice, thumbnail or no thumbnail. I don't have patience with the thumbnail function so I use the WHOLE picture.

But, this results in a monsterous picture, right?

3) After you updload picture to your posting (with the monster picture), go into edit in HTML mode.

4) Find the monster picture. Near the end of the line where it describes the picture by it's file name, insert the phrase:

width="300"

And then save the HTML edit.

It should causes your pictures to be the size I have in my blog.
