My parents are celebrating their 51st Anniversary. We had a good time in Maine last year hosting a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party (which was also our 20th).
Every year my Dad scours the countryside looking for gladiolus. Every year for 50 years he has presented Mom with a mass of glads for their anniversary.
Every time I see glads, I think of their long lasting marriage and have to buy some! Here’s mine in honor of M&D.
I love gladiolas and have several varieties in my garden. They are such cheerful flowers.
My parents will be celebrating their 40th in November.

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!! I know Mom even goes to the lenght to watch them as the days/weeks go by & she’ll keep cutting them back to make them last even longer & the beauty keeps going as they shrink in size & as Mom puts them in smaller containers!! She now has them on the kitchen windowsill in small old milk bottles………..vewry cut..she does have a “knack” on decorating just right! Yes, here’s to M & D!!!!
